Kawat termokopel NiCr-CuNi(konstantan) (Tipe-E)

Termokopel NiCr-CuNi (tipe E) juga disebut termokopel NiCr-Constantan. Komposisi kimia utama NiCr kaki positif (EP) adalah Ni: Cr=90:10; kaki negatif Constantan (EN) adalah Cu:Ni= 55%:45%. Meskipun EN, TN, dan JN semuanya disebut Constantan, EN dan TN tidak memberikan kurva keluaran EMF yang sama seperti JN. EN dan TN dapat dipertukarkan, namun tidak dapat dipertukarkan dengan JN. Kisaran suhu pengoperasian termokopel tipe E adalah -200-900℃。
Termokopel tipe E memiliki keluaran EMF terbesar dan sensitivitas tertinggi, sehingga ideal untuk mengukur perubahan suhu kecil. Ia juga memiliki stabilitas yang baik dalam kisaran suhu rendah hingga 300 ℃, dan sifat anti korosi yang baik di atmosfer lembab.
